The world’s leading trade fair for organic food in Nuremberg provides us at NABA Feinkost, as every year, the opportunity to present our product innovations. This year in Hall 7 at Booth 359.


With our product brands NAbio and Reichenhof, we anticipate the top current trends in the food sector, following the spirit of the times with resourceful recipes and innovative ingredients:


1. Bowl to Go 

With our NAbio Bowl to Go, we present a succulent delicatessen salad, which, with the spork included, is the perfect fast food for the nutrition-conscious. With succulent vegetables, high-quality pulses and superfoods, this non-perishable product innovation keeps apace with the unstoppable trend of the so-called Buddha Bowls, which both attract great interest in the social media and celebrate inclusion in menus for popular restaurants in Germany’s metropolises.


2. Protein spreads

NAbio has now introduced six new vegan spreads based on pulses, which are regarded as plant-based protein sources thanks to their high protein content. The topic of protein is one of the food trends in 2018, within a mere two years the customer reach of protein products has tripled (GfK ConsumerScan). With our range, we are the first supplier to provide the trade with a savoury spread with a protein reward.


3. Soups and stews

As one of the leading manufacturers of organic ready-made meals, we develop both popular classics and innovative recipes with trendy ingredients such as jackfruit, which is in high demand as an alternative to meat thanks to its structure. We will introduce exciting new types to the market on the occasion of the BIOFACH, both for NAbio and Reichenhof.
